Why Are We Creating Community Events?
At the heart of freediving, spearfishing, and ocean exploration is something deeper than technique—connection. Connection to the water, to ourselves, and to each other.

That’s why we’re bringing together local freedivers, spearos, and spearas for community events that go beyond the sport. Whether it’s a beach clean-up, a free breathing training session, an ocean awareness talk, or a spearfishing skills share, these gatherings are about more than just learning—they’re about belonging.

We believe that sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and giving back to the ocean that gives us so much creates stronger, more confident water people—and a healthier marine environment too.

Thanks to everyone who joined us at Mangawhai for an epic afternoon of learning and connection!
